5 WAYS TO STYLE A GUCCI BELT IN WINTER

So I may have been a little late to the Gucci belt party. Clinching the waists of many a fashion blogger, Gucci’s most popular 2016/17 accessory has propelled through the seasons, and into a great deal of our online baskets. So much so, there seems to be a permanent waiting list for one of their most coveted pieces.

I decided to go for the Men’s Leather Belt with GG Buckle in size 80, and after the lengthy wait, she arrived at my door.
I thought I’d share with you how I’ll be styling mine into the colder months, since ditzy dresses and paper thin wraparound blouses are a distant summer memory, apparently. Sob.

THE WORKWEAR

After all, it’s where we spend the majority of our time *horrific realisation*, we may as well dress our best. I teamed the belt with a classic dogtooth check and staple roll neck jumper.

Loafers - Gucci

THE CARDIGAN

Who even wears a belt to hold up their trousers anymore? This one’s for aesthetic purposes only.
Cardigan - Mango

THE LATE AFTERNOON DRINKS

The not-quite-night-out, last minute plan with a friend you haven’t seen in ages. Reinventing the classic ‘jeans with a nice top’, offered as an outfit suggestion in the group Whatsapp. I opted for an autumnal printed blouse and coated jeans.
Body - Zara
Trousers - Missguided

THE CASUAL

The ‘going out, staying in clothes’ hybrid. It’s become acceptable to venture out in joggers (which is me, 70% of the time), why not jazz the look up with a belt? Nonchalant expression optional.
Top - Zara
Joggers - Sold out
Trainers - Reebok

THE CHRISTMAS PARTY

Because is there anything more Christmassy than berry red and gold? Wear with caution however, depending on the level of tipsy you plan to reach. Is there anything worse than waking up from a night out and realising you’ve lost something? It doesn't bear thinking about.

Dress - PrettyLittleThing
